Drawing Module

We begin our course with three weeks of pencil drawing.

You will learn about mark making, light source, shadow, perspective, scaling, portrait and figure drawing, the essential skills needed to work in any media.

Pastel Module

You will be using those skills you learned in the drawing module to create two vibrant, colourful pieces with oil or soft pastels.

We will introduce you to watercolours starting with a simple piece, teaching you a few artist's tricks to help you create stunning paintings in this popular medium.

Over the next three weeks, you will also learn about different brushes, the colour wheel and how to mix colours.

Watercolour Module
Acrylic Module

This versatile medium will give you plenty of opportunity to practice your newly acquired skills and learn even more clever techniques to add four more fantastic pieces to your new portfolio ahead of our end of course exhibition.

Exhibition

This is a lovely way to celebrate as we welcome you and your family and friends to our end of course exhibition.

Your artwork will be mounted and put on display, showcasing the beautiful pieces you and your new friends have created in the last three months.
