Each new course brings new inspiration, with subjects ranging from portraits, landscapes and seascapes to children, animals, birds, landmarks, cultural events and travel. Drawing
You’ll learn essential artist’s skills using pencils and charcoal. The key to any successful art project is understanding the basics, how and when to use them.
We’ll introduce mark making, study light source and shadow and perspective. With these skills under your belt, you’ll have taken the first steps towards creating beautiful art. We’ll also teach you how to draw figures and portraits.
Pastels
You'll get chance to practice the essential basics again while learning how to use oil and soft chalk pastels, as well as how to blend and mix colours.
We will introduce you to watercolours starting with a simple piece, teaching you a few techniques to help you create stunning paintings in this popular medium.

Exhibition
This is a lovely way to celebrate as we welcome you and your family and friends to our end of course exhibition.
